Abu Dhabi-based NMDC Energy PJSC, a key subsidiary of NMDC Group PJSC, has officially extended its Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with Saudi oil giant Aramco, marking another significant step in NMDC Energy’s strategic expansion within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This renewed agreement continues to cement NMDC Energy’s role as a vital partner in Aramco’s offshore developments. Under the terms of the LTA, NMDC Energy will continue delivering end-to-end offshore services, including detailed engineering, material sourcing, fabrication, transportation, installation, and pre-commissioning of offshore facilities—specifically for projects located within Saudi Arabia's territorial waters.
NMDC Energy originally entered into a long-term collaboration with Aramco in 2016. That partnership opened the door to a series of major offshore projects, allowing the company to establish a firm footprint in the Kingdom. Building on this momentum, NMDC Energy launched a cutting-edge fabrication yard in early 2025 at Ras Al Khair. This state-of-the-art facility significantly enhances the company’s in-country capabilities and aligns with the growing demands of Saudi Arabia’s dynamic energy landscape.
The extension of the LTA not only enhances NMDC Energy’s operational scope in the region but also reflects the company’s broader mission of supporting sustainable energy infrastructure while aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
