PWP has officially announced a new tender seeking Techno Economic Consultancy Services for its Hot Springs Geothermal Project.

As part of Oman’s broader strategy to diversify its energy sources and enhance the economic efficiency of the electricity sector, PWP plans to develop several renewable energy projects. The geothermal project marks a significant step toward tapping into the country's natural geothermal potential.
Tender Overview
The newly released tender (Tender Number: OPWP/2025/013) calls for experienced consultants to conduct a feasibility assessment of geothermal energy resources. The study will focus on specific pre-identified locations between Wilayat Fanja and Al Ansab (Wilayat Bousher) as part of Phase I of the project.
The scope of work will require comprehensive technical and economic evaluations to ensure the project's viability, all in strict compliance with the detailed specifications, terms, and conditions outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
