Introduction

Saudi Gulf News: UAE's Lamprell is an engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contractor. It has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Europe based RTE International. The purpose of this agreement is to work together in offshore wind energy sector. Both companies will connect offshore wind farms to onshore power grid through HV Transmission System Wrap. This partnership will bring expertise of offshore wind of Lamprell and high voltage transmission of RTE International.

Lamprell has 50 years of experience and they have more than 6000 workers. Lamprell has big setup in Hamriyah and Jabel Ali in UAE. They have partnership with International Maritime Industry (IMI) in Saudi Arabia.

RTE International is a subsidiary of Europe's high voltage transmission system operator (RTE). Recently they signed an agreement with MAI Group to enhance technical capabilities. This MOU will take them on top level in global energy transition.
