Introduction
Saudi Gulf News: National Water Company (NWC) has completed two water
transmission networks in Al Jouf region. The total cost of these two projects was
SAR 55 million. The purpose of this project is to provide clean and sustainable
water to 23000 people who are living in different cities and districts of Al
Jouf region. This project is part of Saudi Vision 2030, and in order to improve
quality of life and increase efficiency of water transmission network.

Project Information and Scope
- West Qara and South Al-Laqayet districts of Sakaka city, Suwayr governorate, Azfaa center, and Prince Abdul Ilah district of Qurayyat are covered area under this project.
- The total water transmission line is 190 Km so that water can reach to each home.
- An overhead water tank with storage capacity of 100 cubic meter has developed and it will help to maintain water pressure.
- A new pumping station has developed whose capacity is 19000 cubic meter per day. It is sufficient to fulfill the needs of big area.

- Now people will not rely on water tankers and a clean water will reach to home by pipeline.
- This project is based on modern technology and there will be no water wastage with 24/7 water supply.
- As per Saudi Vision 2030, living standard of people from Al Jouf region will be high.
