Technip Energies JV Secures Landmark €1B+ North Field West Contract

Introduction

QatarEnergy awarded an EPCC contract for North Field West (NFW). This contract was awarded to joint ventures of Technip energies, CCC, and GA. The purpose of this contract is to increase production capacity of Qatar from 77 MTPA to 142 MTPA. There are two mega trains included in this contract. Each train has capacity 8 MTPA. The important thing is that project is also part of North Field West but here modern technology and carbon capture and storage techniques will be used. It will not harm environment.

  • Technip energies is present in Qatar since 1986. It shows a deep relations with QatarEnergy. It will create thousands of jobs and new business opportunities.
