L&T Secures Mega $550 Million to $1.1 Billion Grid Orders in India & Middle East

Introduction

L&T has won major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract in India and Middle East. The total value of this contract is $550 million to $1.1 billion. The scope of work in India is to install two Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) of 220 KV in industrial areas of West Bengal. L&T will develop 5 substations, and 250 Km transmission lines in three countries of Middle East. The highest voltage capacity is 500 Kv.
