Impact of This Project (Onshore Gas Facility):
- As everyone knows solar energy does not work in night time. Dubai can store gas and use that gas in power plant during night time.
- Dubai will tackle peek demands when there are more air-conditioner running during summer time. These gas storage reserves will use at that time.
- This project shows lamprell presence in onshore facility. It will make more than 6000 jobs in construction, catering, logistics, and many other fields. UAE economy will boost.
- This will not only fulfill the demand of electricity but also provide necessary fuels to heavy industry like steel mills.
