EPC Opportunity Overview: Jubail-Buraidah II Transmission System (840,650 m³/day)

Executive Summary:

The Jubail-Buraidah II IWTS (Independent Water Transmission System) is a key infrastructure project which is designed to transport potable desalinated water from the Jubail (Eastern Province) to the Al-Qassim region. It has a massive capacity of 840,650 m³/day, and it aims to replace the non-renewable groundwater with sustainable desalinated water which is extracted from sea. This project will connect the Ashmasiah Reservoirs to various small and big cities in Al-Qassim region by a 348 km pipeline. Saudi Arabia is working on water security in line with Vision 2030 and it makes sure to supply potable water to 2 million people of Al-Qassim region.
