The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism of Oman has signed three usufruct agreements valued at over RO 56 million to develop integrated tourism complexes in Khasab, Nakhl, and Sur.
Wadi Al Shab Project –
Redefining Eco-Tourism in Oman
The developer is OMRAN Group. The
goal is to develop Wadi Al Shab into a sustainable, year-round destination for
eco-tourism and adventure seekers. The planned features are adventure park with
zip lines, climbing trails, suspension bridges, walking paths and swimming
zones for all ages, and family-friendly restaurants and cafés. It will
highlight sustainable tourism, rich biodiversity, and unique geological
features.
Sandan – Khasab Pearl Project
– Wilayat of Khasab
The developer is Khasab
Development and Investment Company. The total land area is 43,658 square meter.
Key Elements are 4-star hotel
with 200 rooms, 450 residential units available to both Omanis and foreigners, Heritage-inspired
marketplace, dining outlets, and retail spaces, and Family entertainment and
service facilities.
Hamyan Village: A Sustainable
Living Community in Halban, Nakhl
The project is being developed by
Hamyan Investment and Project Development Company. The land area is 201,031 square
meter.
Main Components are 4-star hotel
offering 156 rooms, 535 residential units (apartments and villas) for local and
foreign ownership, and Traditional market, restaurants, water park, and leisure
zones.
