Al-Haider Contracting Company Secure SAR 80 million of 115 KV Overhead Transmission Line Project from Saudi Electricity Company

Replacement of existing wooden 115 KV OHTL between QAISUMAH PP, QAISUMAH BSP, QATIF GOSP – 2, JUBAUL RESIDENTIAL BSP, JUAYMAH BSP, CHICKEN RANCH SUBSTATION, AND SALT MINE.

The scope of project includes dismantling of 115 Kv wooden Overhead Transmission Line, access road and structure pad preparation, drilling work for tower foundation, concrete pouring, erection of tower, and conductor stringing. Finally, it comes testing commissioning work. The project falls under a Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) contract until completion, successful commissioning, and final acceptance.

Project Overview:

AL-Haider Co shall execute the design, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of the 115kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) and communication systems for the following segments:

• Qaisumah 230/115 kV BSP to Qaisumah PP
• Juaymah PP to Qatif GOSP-2 and Jubail Residential Substations
• Juaymah BSP to Chicken Ranch Substation

Additionally, the CONTRACTOR shall dismantle the existing OHTL systems between:

• Jubail Residential – Birri GOSP1 & GOSP2
• Nariyah – Nata – Assarrar – Hanidh
• Jubail Residential – Salt Mine – Juaymah BSP

 

The total route length is 8 Km. But it is not in same place. Currently civil work of "access road and structure pad installation" is ongoing.
