Earlier in July 2025, Najran cement has done a contract with National Grid SA (A branch of Saudi Energy Company) for developing a transmission station which can bear load of 67 MVA. This deal was only station development and it's deadline was December 2025. Now this new contract is continuation of that old contract to complete connection between grid station and cement factory.
