Introduction
Saudi Gulf News: SAIPEM has international expertise in engineering and construction field. Saudi Aramco awarded a new offshore contract to SAIPEM. This contract is part of long term agreement (LTA). The scope of work include 65 Km pipeline in offshore and 12 Km onshore. The important thing is most of the work of this project will be done in SAIPEM's Dammam Yard. It will be benefit to local industry. The diameter of pipe would be 48 inch.

Impact of This Project
- It will support local economy. As its fabrication work will be done in Dammam Yard, so it will create local job and it will promote local industry as per Saudi Vision 2030.
- This project proves that Aramco and SAIPEM has deep relations. It also proves that SAIPEM has ability to handle hard offshore projects.
- This new trunk line installation will increase production and transportation capacity of Safaniya Oil Field.
