Qatar Awards $851.6M in Energy Contracts to Support Rapid Urban Growth

KAHRAMAA has signed four major contract to assist Qatar’s energy demand in urban sector. The total value of this contract is 3.1 billion QAR. The scope of this contract include construction of seven new high voltage electrical substation. Construction of overhead transmission line and laying of UGC (Underground Cable) with total length of 212 Km. Upgradation of existing substation to enhance its capacity is also included.

  2. Voltage Engineering Ltd. Co. W.L.L (Qatar)
  3. Best and Betash Consortium (Turkey)
  4. Taihan Cable & Solution (South Korea)

H.E Mr. Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, President of KAHRAMAA, H.E Mr. Abdullah Bin Ali Al Theyab, Senior executive from KAHRAMMA, and senior technical leadership from KAHRAMMA attended the ceremony.
